Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy

This notice explains how Bella Vista Cafe Midyat ("we") processes personal data collected through this website, in accordance with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, for visitors from the EU, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data do we process?

• Reservation form: name, phone number, (optional) email, date, time, number of guests, seating preference and your notes.
• Contact form: name, phone and/or email, subject and message.
• Technical data: your IP address when a form is submitted (to prevent abuse and spam).

Why?

To receive and confirm your booking and contact you, to answer your messages and to keep the website secure. Your data is not used for marketing and is never sold to third parties.

Legal basis

Performance of a contract or steps prior to a contract, our legitimate interests, and your consent where required (KVKK Art. 5; GDPR Art. 6(1)(a), (b), (f)).

Sharing

Your data is stored only with our website hosting provider. If you choose to send your booking via WhatsApp, that message is transmitted through WhatsApp (Meta).

Retention

Reservation records are kept for up to 2 years and contact messages for up to 1 year, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data and to object to its processing (KVKK Art. 11; GDPR Art. 15–21). Please send requests to midyatbellavistacafe@gmail.com.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Only one strictly necessary session cookie is used so that our forms work securely. Google Maps is loaded only when you click "Show map", in which case Google's own cookie policy applies.
